Originally from the small town of Jabiru in the Northern Territory, Amy grew up surrounded by various wildlife, sparking her interest in the animal care industry. She joined the Eastside team in 2023 and has since begun her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
Amy has a special interest in anaesthetic monitoring, nurse consultations, and caring for hospitalised patients. She is passionate about ensuring every patient feels safe and well-cared for during their stay, and she’s often found cuddling patients during her lunch breaks.
Amy is excited to continue expanding her knowledge and skills under the guidance of her veterinary and nursing teams, who she affectionately refers to as a “second family.”
Outside of work, Amy enjoys reading, cooking, spending time with her six nieces and nephews, and snuggling up with her rescue cat, Norman.
