Millie

Millie joined the Eastside team in 2019, stepping into the veterinary industry as a veterinary assistant. Working in our puppy preschool program sparked her passion for animal behaviour and Fear Free principles, inspiring her to help animals feel safe and calm during their visits.

In 2022, Millie made the exciting decision to pursue her dream of becoming a veterinarian and was proudly accepted into the Veterinary Medicine program at the University of Adelaide. Millie also began working at a station in Sanderston on South Australia’s Murray Plains, gaining valuable hands-on experience with livestock. While it was a big loss for the clinic, we were proud to see her pursue her passion and embrace this new adventure.

In 2024, we were thrilled to welcome Millie back to the team, where she now balances her studies with weekend shifts at the clinic while continuing her station work during university breaks.

At home, Millie enjoys relaxing with her family and her Cavoodle, Inky, and exploring the Australian countryside with her Australian Cattle Dog, Bonnie.
